Resistant Materials Teacher – Stockport

We are specifically working with a large school in Stockport, who have approached us to secure the services of an outstanding teacher of KS3/4 Resistant Materials. You must be a genuine specialist in Resistant Materials and be confident and qualified to teach the full subject.

Our school is easily accessible from motorway networks and public transport links. Our school has a good reputation in the local area.

This position is five days a week, full time, from September.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Stockport
  • Position – Resistant Materials Teacher (KS3/4)
  • Type of work – Teaching
  • Start date – September 2022
  • Duration – Half a term
  • Contract type – Temporary
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – paid to scale
  • Hours – 8:15am – 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree educated with a good classification
  • Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Resistant Materials
  • Machine safety qualifications essential
  • Previous experience working of working with young people
  • Experience of teaching in a Secondary School
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
