Prospero Teaching is currently looking to connect with Qualified Teachers (QTS) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking new teaching opportunities in the Eastleigh area for the upcoming academic year.

We are working with a number of primary schools, secondary schools, and specialist SEN provisions that are preparing to recruit teachers across a variety of subject areas and key stages for September starts. Whether you’re an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an ECT ready to begin your teaching career, we can help you find the right opportunity.

We welcome applications from teachers across all subject specialisms, as well as those with primary or SEN experience.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons within your subject specialism or key stage
• Plan, prepare, and assess pupil learning
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to the wider life of the school
• Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an ECT
• Strong subject knowledge or understanding of the primary curriculum
• Passionate about supporting pupil progress and achievement
• Effective classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Adaptable and committed to high standards of teaching
• Open to exploring opportunities across different school settings

Contract Details:

• Position: Qualified Teacher (QTS) / ECT
• Location: Eastleigh
• Start Date: September
• Working Pattern: Full‑time
• Pay Rate: £32,916 – £51,047 per annum (M1-U3)
• Key Stages: Primary, Secondary & SEN

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:

• QTS required (or working towards completion as an ECT)
• Relevant teaching experience or placements welcomed
• Safeguarding training can be provided
