Are you an enthusiastic, qualified SENCO Early Years Teacher looking to work with children with special educational needs and/or disabilities? Well, we have the role for you!

Prospero Teaching are looking for a permanent Lead SENCO to join a Nursery team based in Bristol. CONTRACT DETAILS

* Location – Bristol

* Position – Lead SENCO in Early Years

* Type of work – Mentor and Coach other SENCOs and SEND support practitioners, Liaise with parents and professionals

* Contract or position start date – TBC

* Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing

* Contract or position end date (if applicable) – N/A

* Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Permanent

* Full time/part time – Full time

* Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £11/hr

* Hours Vary (working hours between 08:30 – 16:00)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • Early years qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working as an early year’s practitioner and/or SENCO role within an early years setting with responsibility for supporting staff in
  • Experience working with children with a range of special educational needs/disabilities

Desirable

  • Further training/qualifications relating to SEN/D
  • Level 3 SENCO award

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

* Hold Right to Work in the UK

* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

* Provide two professional child related references
