Primary Teacher – Bury St Edmunds – September Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking dedicated and passionate Primary School Teachers to join supportive primary schools in the Bury St Edmunds area from September. Schools are looking for confident classroom teachers with effective behaviour management and a genuine commitment to inspiring young learners.

📌 CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location – Bury St Edmunds

• Position – Primary Teacher

• Type of work – Class teaching

• Start date – September

• Duration – Ongoing / Long‑term

• Full time/part‑time – Full time (Monday to Friday)

• Hours – 08:15am – 15:45pm

• Minimum rate of pay – To be discussed (depending on experience)

📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification

• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school

• Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child‑related references
