Prospero Teaching is looking for experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers to fill supply teaching positions in Bury, Greater Manchester. Positions are available immediately and ongoing throughout the academic year in a variety of local primary schools. The roles are available throughout the primary age groups, and teachers who register with Prospero select their preferred year groups and key stages for work. Schools we work with pre-book cover where possible so you are able to plan your week and your journeys. Day to day emergency cover work is also available for any teachers happy to take work on the day. You can update us continually with your availability, and accept bookings for however many days you choose each week.

Both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply to work with Prospero Teaching. If you are an NQT who is yet to secure a permanent position, supply teaching is a great way to get to know different schools, develop your teaching skills, and potentially find your perfect school for a long-term position where you can complete one or more of your NQT terms.

About the schools and contract:

• Day to day, short-term, long-term supply teaching work
• Flexible bookings
• Interviewing ASAP
• Competitive daily rates, £106-£156, paying to scale for long-term positions

The successful applicants will be:

• Experienced with the UK curriculum
• Confident with teaching EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Excellent classroom practitioners with strong behaviour management skills
• Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Available immediately

The successful Primary Teachers will have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status, with Primary specialism
• A degree and PGCE
• UK classroom experience
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• References to cover the last 2 full years
• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
