About the Post:
We have an exciting opportunity for an EHC Phase Manager to cover a temporary contract. This position will lead in developments within our Pre 14 Phase and requires a senior background in SEND. You will hold a professional qualification in a relevant subject; have significant experience working with children or young people with SEND and experience of complex administration processes and their management. Detailed knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (2015), the Children & Families Act (2014) and current processes and legislation is essential.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· You will need to be able to evidence your experience in carrying out needs led integrated assessments for ages for children and young people aged 0-19, collaboratively working with service users, and other professionals.
· QTS – desirable
· Be able to prioritise your own workload and also meet statutory timescales.
· Knowledge and experience in planning and facilitating person centred multi-agency meetings
· Ability to demonstrate your ability to construct and develop EHC Plans from approved assessments, to meet the needs of children and young people and help them to achieve outcomes.
· Good understanding of the issues facing families where children and young people have special educational needs and/or disabilities.
· Knowledge of the Person Centre planning and processes.
· Experience in chairing and leading meetings and experience of problem solving, resolving conflict and mediation.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references
