About the Part-Time 1:1 Tutor position:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified teacher to work 1:1 with an A-Level student in Norwich.

• You will be required to teach A-Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology.
• Required for 3 x 3 hour sessions per week. These will be held during the school day.
• The student has previously been disengaged with education and will not be attending a Post 16 provision.
• Sessions will take place either in the student’s home or the local library.
• This is initially for the duration of the 2022/23 academic year but may roll over into 2023/24

Contract Details for Part-Time 1:1 Tutor position:

• Location – Norwich
• Position – Part Time 1:1 A-Level tutor
• Type of work – Teaching an A-Level student in their own home.
• Start date – September
• Contract type – Temporary
• Duration / Likely Duration – likely to be for the duration of the 2022/23 academic year
• Full time/part-time – 9 hours per week, 3 x 3 hour sessions
• Minimum rate of pay – £70 per session

Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the Part-Time 1:1 tutor position:

• You MUST hold either QTS or QTLS.
• Experience working with Students with SEMH would be advantageous.
• Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
• A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
• The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.

To be eligible for the Part-Time 1:1 Teacher position through Prospero Teaching you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
