Outreach Tutor – Sefton

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic Outreach Tutors to support children and young people across Sefton through personalised 1:1 tuition.

You’ll work with learners who may be out of education, awaiting school placements or requiring additional support to re-engage with learning. Alongside academic tuition, you’ll help build confidence, resilience and independence.

Position Details

* Location: Sefton
* Position: Outreach Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing

Experience Required

* Experience teaching or tutoring young people
* Experience with SEND, SEMH or disengaged learners is advantageous
* Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills
* QTS or equivalent (preferred)

To be eligible you must:

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply
* Provide two professional child-related references
