MFL Teacher- French & German- Bournemouth

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified MFL teacher, especially in French & German, however other languages such as Spanish & Italian would also be considered. The role is based in a local secondary school in the Bournemouth area. The role would be working with both KS3 & KS4 at GCSE level. The school are looking for the position to start in September, however the school & the department are keen to meet with applicants early & may look to use them during the Summer terms.

You will become part of a forward-thinking Languages department who will support you effectively throughout your time with them, teaching French & German to KS4.  You will be offered ample CPD training alongside your teaching and will be working throughout KS3 & 4, planning and delivering up to GCSE level.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Drive and determination for pupil development while maintaining high expectations of achievement.
• QTS or NQT, with 1+ year teaching experience in UK schools
• Background in teaching French & German
• Be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
• Show adaptability and pro-activeness while under pressure.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
