A calm, popular secondary school located in St Albans, Hertfordshire is interested in securing a Maths teacher starting this SEPTEMBER 2022. The ideal Maths teacher will be qualified, have a degree related to Maths, and knowledge of the National Curriculum.
The school is interested in appointing a Maths teacher to join a thriving and dynamic department in SEPTEMBER 2022. The ideal Maths teacher would be joining a small but well-resourced department and be required to deliver lessons to GCSE.
This is a faith school, to apply you don’t have to be religious yourself. Ofsted graded this school Good recently but in 2014 the school was in Requires improvement so the school has come out of a period of transition, change, and are in such a positive place and it is felt through the school. Leaders are effective, the students feel happy at the school and it’s reflected in their behaviour and results. Looking towards outstanding this is a great school for anyone who wants to work in a progressive school.

The right Maths teacher will:
• Hold a BA and PGCE in Maths
• Confident with teaching GCSE
• Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
The successful Maths teacher will have the following:
• Exceptional degree and GCSEs
• UK classroom teaching experience
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
• A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
• Salary paid to scale – teachers’ pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience

The school does provide education for students of all abilities, therefore, creating differentiated and interesting attention-grabbing lessons is a very important trait and will act as a useful method to ensure behaviour stays good.
