A popular school located in Barnet, North London is interested in securing a Maths teaching job starting this SEPTEMBER 2022 The ideal Maths teacher will be qualified, have a degree related to Maths, and knowledge of the National Curriculum.

The ideal Maths teacher would be joining a small but well-resourced department and be required to deliver lessons to GCSE and A’level.
Joining a new school is daunting sometimes but the department is supportive, passionate and our resources are great. The department is small and has a blend of NQT’s and experienced teachers which makes for a solid and growing department.

The right Maths specialist will be:
• Hold a BA and PGCE in Maths
• Confident with teaching GCSE
• Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
The successful Maths teacher will have the following:
•Exceptional degree and GCSEs
•UK classroom teaching experience
•Eligibility to work in the UK
•Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
•A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
•Salary paid to scale – teachers’ pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience
Behaviour at the school is good, well managed and students value their education. The school provides pastoral responsibilities to staff and a range of CPD sessions. The school does provide education for students of all abilities therefore creating differentiated and interesting attention-grabbing lessons is a very important trait and will act as a useful method to ensure behaviour stays good.
