Prospero Teaching is currently on the lookout for Math graduates with a keen interest in education to join a secondary school in NW5. Specifically, we’re seeking individuals who have excelled in Math at both GCSE and A-level, and who hold a degree in this field.
In addition to academic excellence, we value strong communication skills and a dedicated approach to supporting students’ learning journeys. If you’re a Maths graduate who meets these criteria and is eager to make a positive impact in a school setting, we’d love to hear from you.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Location: North London – Camden
- Position: Math Graduates
- Type of work: Supporting the Maths department.
- Contract or position starting date: Immediate start
- Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm): Temp to Perm
- Full time/part time: Full time ONLY
- Minimum rate of pay: £85 – £100- Negotiable
- Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
WHAT DOES THE MATHS GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE INVOLVE:
- Supporting the class teacher and students during lessons
- 1 a rapport with 5 – 6 students with specific needs and implementing strategies to nurture, engage and raise attainment in their secondary years
- 1:1 Maths tuition sessions supporting your subject specialism
Running intervention groups in your subject area to build their knowledge of the subject
WHAT SUPPORT WILL I BE GIVEN AS A MATHS GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT?
- You’ll be given training, guidance and support by an experienced consultant at Prospero and our Training and Development Team (all experienced teachers) as well as from the school themselves.
- A programme of FREE Training and CPD sessions are also offered.
- You will be provided with resources and strategies to support learners, behaviour management training, group and 1:1 training from qualified, experienced passionate staff.
