Mathematics Teacher Required ASAP

Our school is a popular school in Cheshire, and they are looking to recruit for a temporary teacher of Mathematics. The role will start as soon as possible and will be until Christmas. It will be full time and you will be expected to teach various classes in key stage 3 & 4.

The Maths department is a strong, established department and this supply position is to join a supportive team. Results are consistently high and the school has recently undergone extensive renovation and improvements. Our school has a great reputation in the local area and is consistently oversubscribed.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Glossop, Cheshire
• Position – KS3/4 Mathematics Teacher
• Start date – September 2022
• End date (if applicable) – Christmas 2021
• Contract type – long term
• Full time/part time -Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate is £100 per day
• Hours – 8:15 am – 4pm (full day)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• PGCE in Secondary Mathematics OR equivalent route to QTS in Secondary Mathematics
• Hold a Mathematics-related degree at a good classification.
• Be available immediately

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
