As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide the best possible support.
  • Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).
  • Is patient, compassionate and resilient.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is committed to supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
