Our school is easily accessible from the M60 and M66 – although public transport links are strong too with regular local bus and tram services available. Our school has a good reputation in the local area and was graded as “Good” during its last OfSTED Inspection.

This position is five days a week, full time, from September 2022.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Position – Science Teacher (KS3/4)

• Minimum rate of pay – paid to scale (minimum day rate £120)
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree educated with a good classification
• Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Secondary Science
• Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
• Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
