About the School

We are working in partnership with a well-established and inclusive primary school in Bury that is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher from September 2026.

The school is recognised for its supportive leadership, strong community values, and commitment to delivering a high standard of education. Staff work collaboratively to provide a structured and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
  • Possess excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be committed to raising standards and supporting pupil wellbeing
  • Thrive within a collaborative and supportive team

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references relating to working with children
