Are you an intellectual individual with Religious Education and Sociology Teaching experience? Are available for an immediate start within a fantastic Secondary School?

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Religious Education/Sociology Teacher to work in a Secondary School in Wakefield on a full-time basis starting as soon as possible.

This will involve teaching KS3 – KS5 and, the school have specifically requested for candidates with experience teaching RE/Sociology.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location -Wakefield
  • Position – RE/Sociology Teacher
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) – N/A
  • Contract type – Long term
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £110 per day
  • Hours – 8:00am – 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Previous experience working in a school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided accordingly)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
