ABOUT THE SCHOOL – Head of Design Technology

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Departmental Head of Design Technology for an Ofsted “Outstanding” Secondary school in Enfield, North London
A successful and oversubscribed multicultural comprehensive school situated in a leafy part of Enfield. To start in September 2022, the school are looking for a very capable and confident Head of Design Technology.
The school is a medium/large School with a supportive and constantly developing Design Techonlogy department. The School has roughly 1346 students on roll. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.

The position is open to ONLY experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

About the Role – Head of Design Technology – Enfield
The Head of Design Technology role is a highly important position in this North London school and it carries a large amount of responsibility.

The position requires an exceptional teacher who has had a previous responsibility of a Design Technology Lead or who is a current Head of Department or a Strong DT Teacher who wants to step up.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS or equivalent
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
