Graduate Teaching Assistant required

We are working with schools across Manchester, who are looking to secure the services of talented, enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to cover a variety of absences, there are plenty of opportunities to work whilst earning valuable experience in schools.

As you become more confident, there will be opportunities to work as a Cover Supervisor – which again, will help with your application to a QTS course for 2022.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Manchester
• Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Start date – September 2022
• Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing basis, variety of assignments
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/part time
• Minimum rate of pay – £75 per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree educated with a good classification
• Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references (or be willing to undertake a voluntary placement)
