Prospero Teaching is seeking a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a large, inclusive secondary school in the HA8 area of North West London. The Role

You will be based within the school’s specialist SEN unit, supporting students with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and moderate learning needs. The provision is well‑structured, well‑resourced, and led by an experienced SENCO who prioritises collaboration, consistency, and professional growth.

This role is ideal for graduates exploring careers in teaching, educational psychology, therapy, or child development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Targeted SEN Support – Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions aligned with EHCP outcomes.
  • Classroom Adaptation – Support teachers in modifying resources and ensuring accessibility.
  • Behaviour & Emotional Regulation – Use positive behaviour strategies to help students engage and self‑regulate.
  • Progress Monitoring – Record observations and contribute to review meetings.
  • Team Collaboration – Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and external specialists.
