General Cover Teacher – Witham

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Qualified Teacher to work in a a secondary school near Witham covering a range of subjects

We are looking for a Teacher who has strong behaviour management skills and is an excellent role model for young people.

This position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. The successful candidate will be able to teach at least 2 of the following subjects: Science, Maths, Geography and English.

Contract Details

• Location – near Witham
• Position – General Cover Teacher
• Type of work – Teaching including planning and marking
• Start date – 1st September 2022
• Duration / Likely Duration – 1 year
• Contract type – 1 year supply contract
• Full time/part time – Full TIme
• Minimum rate of pay – £130 per day

Experience, Training and Qualifications needed for the Secondary Supply Teacher job:

• QTS, PGCE or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

To be eligible for this job though Prospero Teaching you must have/be:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
