Functional Skills Tutor – Warrington

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is looking for experienced Functional Skills Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition across Warrington.

Working with learners of different ages and abilities, you’ll deliver tailored Functional Skills English and Maths sessions that develop confidence, strengthen core skills and support learners in achieving recognised qualifications.

Position Details

* Location: Warrington
* Position: Functional Skills Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

The ideal tutor will have:

* Experience delivering Functional Skills English and/or Maths
* Relevant teaching or tutoring experience
* A learner-focused approach
* Excellent communication skills

To be eligible, you must:

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional references
