We are looking for a passionate and industry-experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Teacher to join our growing team at a dynamic college in West Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future workforce by delivering high-quality teaching and training to electrical apprentices across a range of levels.

The Role
You will deliver engaging and practical teaching sessions, supporting apprentices to develop both their technical knowledge and on-site competencies.
Key responsibilities include:
· Teaching electrical installation and theory to apprentices (Level 2-Level 3 or higher)
· Planning and delivering lessons that inspire and challenge learners
· Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
· Supporting apprentices with portfolio development and EPA preparation
· Maintaining strong relationships with employers and industry partners
· Ensuring compliance with awarding body and college standards

About You
Were looking for someone who combines strong industry experience with a passion for education.
You will ideally have:
· A recognised electrical qualification (Level 3 minimum; NVQ or equivalent)
· Significant industry experience as an electrician
· A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards one
· Assessor/IQA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
· Strong communication and organisational skills
· A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities
