Early Years Teaching Assistant- Trafford

*The School are looking for the Teaching Assistant to work with a small group of EYFS children.

*Responsibilities will involve short carpet sessions in Phonics, Maths and English, support in continuous provision and ensuring the children are in a safe and calm learning environment.

*This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for an extremely rewarding career in education.

*The successful candidate must have previous experience of working 1:1 with a young person. The candidate must have a good understanding of Jolly Phonics and interventions.

Contract/Position Details

*Position – EYFS Teaching Assistant

*Location – Trafford
*Start date – September 2022

*Duration – Throughout academic year
*Position end date – July 2022
*Contract type – Temporary leading to full time for the right candidate
*Pay – Minimum £70 per day
*Hours – 8:30am-3:30pm

EYFS Experience, Training and Qualifications.

*It is essential that you have a Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working in a school setting.
*Safeguarding training is imperative; Prospero Teaching offer a free course if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
*Strong behaviour management skills are a must and have a bank of various strategies.
