About the School

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bury area that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teacher from September 2026.

The school is well-regarded for its nurturing ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to providing a strong foundation for all children. Staff work collaboratively to create a stimulating and engaging Early Years environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and independence.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils receive the support and guidance needed to thrive during the early stages of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Promote positive behaviour through consistent and nurturing strategies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience within an Early Years setting
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic in their approach
  • Possess effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be committed to supporting the development and wellbeing of young learners

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references relating to working with children
