Early Years Specialist Tutor – Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP)

Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate Early Years Specialists to provide personalised 1:1 support to young children across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP).

This rewarding role involves working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to develop communication, language, literacy, numeracy, social skills, and school readiness. You may support children with SEND, Children Looked After (CLA), or those accessing alternative provision.

You will deliver engaging, play-based learning tailored to each child’s needs, helping them build confidence and achieve positive outcomes while completing weekly progress reports.

Contract Details

• Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP)
• Position: Early Years Specialist Tutor
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Part-time
• Duration: Ongoing
• Pay: £25-£30 per hour
• Flexible hours

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 EYFS sessions.
• Plan engaging, child-centred learning activities.
• Adapt sessions to meet individual needs.
• Promote communication, confidence and school readiness.
• Complete weekly feedback and progress reports.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in an education or childcare setting.
• EYTS, QTS, PGCE, CACHE Level 3 or equivalent is desirable.
• Knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is advantageous.

To be eligible you must:

• Have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
• Provide two child-related professional references.
• Have at least one year’s experience working with children.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
