Prospero Teaching are actively seeking a Cover Supervisor to work Haringey secondary schools starting immediately.

WHAT IS A COVER SUPERVISOR?

Cover supervisors are essentially unqualified cover teachers (no previous experience required) who are able to take the responsibility of the full-time class teacher if the full-time class teacher is absent.

ABOUT THE SCHOOLS 

Prospero are working with mixed and single sex secondary schools across Haringey. Many schools in Haringey are very accessible via public transport marking them accessible. We are flexible with the roles / schools we can offer you as we work with a range of schools in Islington.

 COVER SUPERVISOR ROLE

• Location – Haringey
• Position – Cover Supervisor
• Type of work – KS3/KS4
• Contract or position start date – September 2022
• Duration / Likely Duration –until end of the academic year July 2022
• Contract or position end date (if applicable) – July 2022
• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary initially, permanent thereafter
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – £80 per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3pm, plus parents’ evenings

 COVER SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree – Essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS COVER SUPERVISOR ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
