COVER SUPERVISOR, SECONDARY SCHOOL – Muswell Hill

Prospero Teaching is looking for Cover Supervisors for an Ofsted “Good” Secondary school Muswell Hill

This is a mixed secondary school in Muswell Hill and is going from strength to strength. They are seeking cover supervisors to cover classes where full-time teachers are absent, cover is always set and there are opportunities for work as often or infrequently as required.

The position is open to both experienced cover teachers as well as graduates with minimal education experience. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

COVER SUPERVISOR CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location – Muswell Hill
• Position – Cover Supervisor

• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary initially, permanent thereafter

• Minimum rate of pay – £80 per day
• Hours – 8am – 4pm, plus parents’ evenings

COVER SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree – desirable
• Up to date Safeguarding training

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS COVER SUPERVISOR ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
