A calm, popular secondary school located in Camden is interested in securing a Computer Science teacher to join the team starting this September 2022. The ideal Computer Science teacher will be qualified, have a degree related to Computer Science and knowledge of the National Curriculum.

The school is interested in appointing a Computer Science teacher to join a thriving and dynamic department in September 2022. The ideal Computer Science teacher would be joining a small but well-resourced department and be required to deliver lessons to GCSE.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHING POST:
• A medium-size secondary school
• Computer Science taught at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and key stage 5
• Solid Computer Science department
• Supportive team and a strong leader
• Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment
• Supportive yet high energy atmosphere
• This is a full-time position including planning and marking
• Interviewing ASAP

THE RIGHT COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER WILL:
• Hold a BA and PGCE in Computer Science
• Confident with teaching Computer Science including Python, OCR GCSE Computer Science and Cambridge Technical In IT

• Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

THE SUCCESSFUL COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
• Exceptional degree relating to Computer Science

• UK classroom teaching experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
  • A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
  • Salary paid to scale – teachers’ pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience
