As a Childcare Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting students day-to-day care, emotional wellbeing, and development within a structured and nurturing environment. Job Type: Full-time / Term-time only
· Assist students with daily routines, including personal care where required
· Support pupils social, emotional, and behavioural development
· Work alongside teachers and support staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
· Assist with managing behaviour in line with school policies
· Encourage independence and confidence in all students
· Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers
· A patient, caring, and resilient nature
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a dynamic environment
· Relevant childcare or support qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Childcare or Health & Social Care) is desirable but not essential
· A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
