Prospero Teaching are currently working with an all-girls secondary school in Camden who is actively seeking a behaviour mentor to work with students with a range of behaviour needs.

As a work-finding service, we can assist those interested in building their careers in a variety of Secondary Schools. We are looking for those who are interested in supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties across different year groups within secondary schools.

This particular role is a Behaviour Mentor role, supporting students within a secondary setting with learning needs. Running social skills lessons, communicating,  behaviour management, managing conflict, caring about yourself and others, being part of a group and non-verbal communication, , problem solving, standing up for yourself,  Handling Change dealing with Anger, Understanding The Impact of your Behaviour On Others and much more.

CONTRACT / BEHAVIOUR MENTOR DETAILS

Type of Work:                  long term role, full time – Monday – Friday, term time only

Contract Type:                 Temporary
Full Time/Part Time:      Full Time essential
Minimum Pay Rate:       £80 Daily Rate
Hours:                               8:15am – 16:00pm Full Day

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have relevant experience supporting those with emotional and behavioural difficulties
• No previous experience in education is required, however, must have a passion to work with children

REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY FOR THE BEHAVIOUR MENTOR ROLE:
• Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
• Able to provide two professional references
