A high‑performing, Large secondary school in Newham, known for its calm learning environment, strong behaviour systems and exceptional student progress.
We are seeking a confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor / Corridor Walker to help maintain high standards of behaviour and support the smooth running of the school day.
Key Duties:
- Visible presence on corridors and during transitions
- Support students to meet behaviour expectations
- De‑escalate low‑level disruption calmly and consistently
- Build positive relationships with students
- Work closely with pastoral staff and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with young people (schools, youth work, mentoring, pastoral support)
- Calm, assertive and resilient approach to behaviour
- Strong communication skills and confidence with teenagers
- Passion for supporting young people to succeed
