ASC Teaching Assistant

ASC Teaching Assistant – Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil, with Autism on a 1-1 basis. This role is to start in January and is based in Burnley. The successful candidate will have relevant experience supporting children with SEN.

You will be working in small groups or on a 1-1 basis to support pupils with SEN, in particular Autism.

Position Details:

• Location: Burnley
• Position: ASC Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:30am-3:45pm
• Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day depending on experience
• Full time/part time: Full time only
• Type of work: Temporary
• Start date: Jan 2025
• End date: Ongoing

Role Requirements:

• DBS (clean and relevant) – Can be obtained through Prospero Teaching if needed
• Safeguarding Certificate
• Prevent Awareness Certificate
• Excellent Communication Skills
