Are you passionate about Chemistry and eager to inspire the next generation of scientists, medics, engineers and researchers?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable A Level Chemistry Teacher to join a thriving Science department on a maternity cover basis. You will teach motivated post-16 students across a broad and engaging curriculum covering organic, inorganic and physical chemistry, while developing their practical and analytical skills through laboratory-based learning.
Key Areas of Teaching
- Practical skills and scientific investigation
- Foundations of Chemistry
- Periodic Table and Energy
- Core Organic Chemistry
- Physical Chemistry and Transition Elements
- Organic Chemistry and Analysis, including chromatography and NMR spectroscopy
About You
- Degree in Chemistry or a related subject
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Chemistry at Level 3/A Level
- Passion for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Strong practical laboratory and health & safety knowledge
