Student Support Services... Why Choose Prospero?

Prospero Student Support Services is ready to assist you by providing non-medical support for students receiving DSA (Disabled Students’ Allowance).  With our assistance, students with mental health conditions and/or disabilities can be provided with one-to-one tutoring and mentoring whilst at university.

With over 80,000 qualified education staff on our database, 16 offices nationally and 3000 established clients Prospero Student Support Services are well-equipped to provide your students with the support they need.

To us, there is no better feeling than knowing that our staff have helped students to reach their full potential:

‘My tutor is the best and has helped me so much! If not for her I would have really struggled last year and this year.’

‘My mentor and tutor are fab and I find the sessions very valuable.’

Supporting your Students

University can be a daunting place for young people at the best of times. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of overcoming recent challenges to ensure our young people are able to lead rich and fulfilling lives.

As well as offering a friendly ear and a regular point of contact, our understanding support staff can cover a range of key study skills depending on the needs of the student, including:

  • Assignment planning
  • Research techniques
  • Exam preparation
  • Spelling & grammar
  • Time management
  • Comprehension confidence
