Prospero Teacher of the Month (March 2015)
Kerry is a fantastic Primary NQT who has been teaching in schools around Suffolk. She is a calm, natural teacher, highly effective in the classroom and excels in getting the best out of her students, even on short term supply contracts. Her attitude is excellent and her bright, enthusiastic personality has made her a popular member of staff in every school she has worked. Schools are almost immediately re-booking her and the feedback from her current assignments has been nothing less than superb.
Evana – Cardiff
Evana covers not only her specialist subject of D&T but numerous others. Her flexible attitude and excellent classroom management skills have made her our “go to” teacher for challenging schools in the area. Over the last few months schools have been constantly ringing, asking when she is free and booking her in advance. Evana’s references are outstanding including one which stated “the work Evana has done since being here has been of the highest order. If a permanent role were to become available I would strongly encourage her to apply as she would be successful!”
Callum – Manchester
Callum is a Cover Supervisor/TA with a degree in History. He is highly committed, always going above and beyond what is expected in his positon. He has worked in 3 different schools who have all given him outstanding feedback. After a week’s trial at a technology college Callum was offered a long term position. One head of dept was so impressed with his subject knowledge and passion for teaching she asked him to join her dept permanently. There is also talk of him doing his GTP in the same college in September.
James – London
James has been working with Prospero Teaching for the last few years, and most recently on a day-to-day supply basis throughout East London. He has a fantastically professional attitude and all school feedback reports that James works extremely hard, and as a result, often ask him to return.
Luke – Birmingham
Luke is a Cover Supervisor who has worked in various Secondary Schools covering staff absence. He is hugely committed and schools ask for him back on a first name basis, with the most recent booking him until May half term at least. Feedback for Luke is excellent and in particular details how he manages challenging behaviour effectively. Everyone in the Birmingham office we would like to congratulate Luke for the great work he has done.
Katrina – Bristol
Katrina is nominated because she is an outstanding teacher frequently asked back by schools. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Katrina is very effective in the classroom. She has excellent behaviour management and integrates well with the ethos of each school she goes to.
