Prospero Teaching are currently seeking to recruit Recent Graduates interested in becoming teachers in the future to work at a vibrant and friendly secondary school.


The role includes:

  • Supporting the class teacher and students during lessons,
  • As a new member of staff you will be given guidance, support and on-going training.
  • Lessons will be delivered to all year groups Key Stage 3, Key stage 4 and experience with Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.

Resources at the school are fantastic; the department you will be working in is busy and has a blend of NQT’s and experienced teachers which makes for a positive teaching and learning environment.

Behaviour at the school is good and is managed by a strong behaviour management policy enforced throughout the school. There is an Special Needs Department that works with students that might have additional needs and will require additional support, maybe Autism, Dyslexia, behavioural needs. You may be asked to support these students in classes, implementing strategies to improve their understanding or learning as well as behaviour needs. Training will be provided. All of these aspects of the role make the post varied and pave the way for someone who wishes to pursue a teaching career.
