Prospero Teaching are looking to add to their pool of secondary supply teachers in the Bury St Edmunds area for work starting ASAP.

  • Variety of secondary schools in Suffolk including the Bury St Edmunds area
  • Flexible work to fit around other commitments
  • Work as many or as little days as you like
  • Immediate starts available
  • You’ll work with a Supportive Consultant with local knowledge

About the successful Supply Teacher

  • Enthusiastic and passionate Teacher
  • Demonstrate excellence in the classroom and be a positive role model
  • Will have a passion for their subject and be happy to cover other subjects too
  • Be able to build rapport in a short amount of time and have a belief that everyone can succeed
  • Strong classroom management skills are a must

To be eligible the Supply Teacher must

  • Be a qualified Teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, B’ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
  • Be a UK resident or be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have experience teaching in the UK
  • Have 2 references and hold a current and full enhanced DBS
  • Passionate and dedicated educator
