  • They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Teacher of Media with responsibility for Key Stage 4 to work within their hugely successful Media Department.

THE MEDIA TEACHER ROLE:

  • The school are looking for a Media teacher who is able to join the department and teach Media to KS4 and 5 students.
  • In this role you will be given responsibility of teaching KS3-5 students within Media Studies in order to ensure they reach their potential and are given the opportunity to succeed.
  • It is paramount you are a confident, inspiring individual who has relevant subject knowledge in order to teach up to KS5 Media Studies.

THE SUCCESSFUL MEDIA TEACHER WILL:

  • Have the ability to teach Media Studies to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (ideally also to Key Stage 5)
  • Have a valid and up to date DBS
  • All applicants will be subject to past school references
  • Be passionate about the subject area and a good role model to students
  • Be innovative and willing to encourage students to stretch themselves
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team of specialist teachers
