Prospero Teaching are looking for Learning Support Assistants with experience working with children with Autism and challenging behaviour. If you are looking for work in the Greenwich area and would like to make a positive difference to children’s lives then we would love to hear from you.

About the school and contract:
We are looking for an SEN LSA to work in a special school with children with Autism and challenging behaviour.
A specialist provision with lots of outdoor space.
A permanent position starting from September
11-18 mixed school

About the successful SEN LSA:
Previous LSA experience, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
A passion for working with children with Autism and SEMH.
Pro-active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class and outdoor activities.

To be eligible the SEN LSA must have/be:
Previous classroom experience.
Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.
Excellent communication skills – the school encourages good communication with parents/carers.
